Kulinārās tradīcijas nav nemainīgas – tās veidojas un mainās līdzi laikam, notikumiem un mūsu pašu priekšstatiem par to, kas ir svinību cienīgs ēdiens. Kā izskatās Latvijas dzimšanas dienas galds?

Par to es rakstu portālā “Satori” – “18. novembra garša”. Latvijas valsts svētku ēdieni ir simbolisks vēstījums, kas atspoguļo gan vēsturiskās saknes, gan to, kā sabiedrība šodien definē patriotismu caur ēdienu. Vai nacionālais mielasts nozīmē tradicionālo ēdienkarti, vai arī mums būtu jāatstāj vieta jaunām garšām, kas atspoguļo Latvijas daudzveidību un atvērtību?
